Dear ISBT Working Party Member,
We hope this email finds you well. As a member of the International Society for Blood Transfusion, you already recognize the vital role that blood and plasma donation plays in saving lives. However, not everyone is aware of the importance of donating blood and plasma. That is why we are participating in the World Health Organization’s (WHO) campaign to raise awareness of this vital issue, and we would like to invite you to join us.
As you may know, the WHO celebrates World Blood Donor Day on June 14 every year. This year’s campaign slogan is “Give blood, give plasma, share life, share often.” We consider this message critical, and we aim to spread it as widely as possible.
To do so, we have prepared a toolkit to help you share this message with your social media followers. It includes a series of educational posts on blood and plasma donation that are suitable for a general audience, thank you posts for donors, and posts to motivate people to donate prepared by ISBT as well as materials from the WHO. You can use these materials on your social media channels to encourage others to donate blood and plasma. Please always include the hashtags #ISBTClinical and #ISBTWBDD2023 when posting. Your participation in this campaign will help raise awareness about this essential topic and inspire others to take action.
You can access the toolkit here: https://bit.ly/wbdd-2023
We would appreciate it if you could like, comment on our posts and share these on your social media channels. The more engagement we get, the more visibility our campaign gets, and the more likely we are to reach a wider audience. Please note that comments generally have a bigger impact than likes, as they show that people are actively engaging with the content and care about the issue, so please actively comment. If you are not an ISBT follower yet, you can find us here: LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.
As a Working Party member, you have the power to make a real difference. By sharing this toolkit on your social media channels, you can help spread the word and encourage others to become blood and plasma donors. Together, we can make a difference and help save lives.
We hope that you will join us in this campaign. Thank you for your support. Please don’t hesitate to share this email and the toolkit in your network.
Best regards,
The ISBT Central Office |
